wildlife

I am become death, the destroyer of winged insects.

Those that i dont swallow, I trap in the vents of my cycle helmet, where they buzz and struggle until i, frantic, crush against my pate.

We have covered 67 miles yesterday and today so far. .

And what is it to cease breathing but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?...”

Dearest Botogol

Do you think it is conservationally wise and ethical to smite so many insects? We at Buglife are beset with grave misgivings.

Nonetheless, we wish you all the best with your trip and pause only to wonder why you store pate in your helmet. Was Paddington Bear your role model when you were young?

Best wishes

Insect Hugger (oops, that's another I crushed).

While the very thought of ingesting a bug might repulse you, it is important to understand the nutritional value of insects. The reason why the indigenous people of Japan, West Africa, Indonesia and Australia have traditionally included insects as a food source is due to the high protein content of the little critters.

You should therefore feel free to indulge.

BTW Standing naked in the wind and/or melting into the sun is not recommended.

Or, picking up your last line, as Robert Frost once said:

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."
